Internally welded stainless steel bail. Basic slug designed for light to moderate loads. The 1/2" slug slides (40334) are temporarily out of stock.

I originally ordered sail slugs from a different online supplier, but they were way too tight because the slug diameter was almost exactly 1/2" with very little clearance to slide through a 1/2" luff groove. And the supplier no longer sold slugs without rockets. These slugs were 7/16" diameter and slid up and down the luff groove with no extra force at all on the halyard. I give Sailmaker's Supply an A++ for their fast shipping and for carrying a better variety of products than their competitors.
