The buckle definitely needs to be redesigned. The leather strap being folded under causes it to dig into the back of your hand. Otherwise, this seems to be a quality piece.

Sewing palm

The buckle clasp should be riveted on with the leather folded up, not down. Being folded down creates an uncomfortable pressure point on the back of your hand.

Excellent, well made palm. Much better than the Chinese rubbish that has been for sale in chandlers in Australia. Thanks, I will be looking to purchase more sailmaking gear from Sailmaker's Supply.
