Product Description:
An all around good choice for mainsails and genoas, this fabric is made with high quality yarns and construction. It is tightly woven with inherent bias stability.
This is "real" sailcloth. It has been treated with resins to keep the cloth from stretching and to prevent air from passing through. The result is a stiff feel.

There are many items on the market for slicking or burnishing the edges on leather billfolds, purses, keychains, etc., however sailcloth has been the best I have found for this..great product, 100% satisfied. service was excellent also....

Coated version of cloth is very plastic and stiff, not coated sail cloth fabric I purchased from fabric stores in past. Too stiff for use. I'm requesting return and refund.

This is "real" sailcloth made to be used for sails on sailboats. Resins are applied to the cloth to make it suitable for sails. We do sell untreated sailcloth which is much softer and perfect for bags and totes. Please check "Bag Cloth" under the Fabric Category.
