Product Description:
The resins applied to regular sailcloth make it stiff and crunchy, giving it an almost plastic-paper-like feel. This sailcloth is untreated, making it perfect for bags. It is the exact fabric we use for our Sailcoth and Nautical Totes.
Polyester, available here in 2 weights: 5.5 oz. and 7.6 oz., 54" wide, sold by the yard.
In an effort to reduce shipping costs, orders of 5 yards or less may be folded.

Hi, what is this made of? Cotton or Dacron?
Owner Response: Polyester. (FYI, Dacron is Dupont's name for polyester.)

I haven't made anything with the fabrics I purchased, but I will definitely be purchasing my supplies from Sailmaker's Supply. The customer service (Jean) was awesome. She answered all my questions -- that were many -- and she responded very quickly. The fabrics are awesome and I can't wait to make my bag with them.
