Brilliant. Made by Wm Smith and Son. Definitely the best palm on the market. The palm needs to be soaked in water, and then moulded to one's individual hand, as was done traditionally with all sailmakers. A wonderful product.

Great Sewing Palm

Great sewing palm. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for, high quality. You must custom fit the palm to your hand. I used hot water for an hour, formed it to my hand and then once dry, used Montana Pitch-Blend Leather Dressing. You won't have to buy another Sewing Palm, it'll last a lifetime.

I received this palm as a requested birthday gift. I believe it's the best seaming palm on the market!!! For those having trouble getting it to form to their hand, I used Pitch Blend leather dressing and the hot Arizona sun to soften it up and form it to my hand. Only took about 2 hrs to get it comfortable! wiped off the excess and started using it. Outstanding product and service.

This is a well made product. However, it is so heavy duty that I will have to soak it in hot water for some time to get it pliable enough to fit my hand.

I did a bit of research before buying: this is the best palm I found and the best price. Customer service from Sailmaker's Supply has been quick, friendly, and responsive. I would definitely buy from them again.
