PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Now you can attach snap fastener studs in places where you can't or don't want to drill holes! These "studs" have an aggressive adhesive on the back side and a low profile design. A regular button and socket installed in your fabric cover snaps to these perfectly. Available in several styles: white, black or clear, 25mm or 40mm, flexible or domed. Prepare the surface well for best adhesion.

We have used SNADS on plexiglass sliding hatches, under the eyebrow on sports fishing boats and several other spots where there wasn't enough room to drill a hole for conventional snap studs. Some people just don't want holes drilled into their boats. SNADS are the perfect solution!

By the way, that red look on the clear SNAD is simply the paper backing. The SNAD is clear!

White Flexible Snaps

I installed these in my Tahoe 1950 for the snap-in floor mats. Being that the mats are not under a heavy load they work great for just holding it in place. This beats having to drill holes into your floor. I did have a few get wet with water on accident and it took away the adhesive properties however I just used a little bit of a marine goop and it worked just fine.

YKK SNAD Snap Fasteners

I live in Las Vegas, NV. It's July with temperatures up to 118F. My garage is full so I have to leave my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser outside in the sun. It get very hot inside but I don't want to cover the entire car, just the windows. I bought the YKK SNAD Snap Fasteners and attached them around the window frame. I then used Sunbrella fabric to cover just the windows and installed regular snap fasteners. The window covers are much easier to install and remove than a complete car cover. The window covers are outside of the vehicle to deflect sun rays from heating up the vehicle and destroying rubber components. All this stuff was designed for marine use but works well in the desert.

Snad Fasteners

Great product. If you don't want to drill conventional snaps into your boat, these are what you want. I placed these onto my powder coated T Top to secure my front window under a great load while running fast. Very happy with the Snad's strength, clean look and how easy they are to place.

I was looking for YKK adhesive SNAD to put on my son's ski helmet for the goggle strap holder to snap to. Price was very reasonable, order process easy, and delivery pretty quick. So far it seems like this will work well but we haven't tested it through the winter yet.
